Surfside Marathon
The Surfside Marathon is the only marathon run completely on the beach. It's definetly one of a kind!!!!
The finish line.
Hurricane Ike wrecked the pavillion that is normally used at this event so we got to hang out in this cool tent!!
Great job to all the participants and volunteers at the Surfside Marathon on Saturday Feb 14, Valentines Day. Thanks again to the race organizers for have Taylor Sport out for their event!!

Hey all....These are some up to date pictures of the Taylor Sport Gym. We have some new equipment and we rearranged to make it more functional. It's a big hit with all our clients and lifters. We've been up and running now for about one month! I do 90% of my training here and we have several lifters that come on Saturdays at noon to train.
Stop on by and check us out! We also have a free Crossfit class on Saturdays at 10am for newbe's!

It's like having Jack Lalanne in a capsule!
Catechins, a sub-class of polyphenols, or antioxidant compounds found in green tea could help promote exercise-induced abdominal fat loss, according to a new study. Green tea is a rich source of catechins, which are thought to play a beneficial role in reducing the risk of various diseases, including Alzheimer's, certain cancers, cardiovascular and oral health.
The current study found that consuming a beverage containing green tea catechins (625mg/d) may enhance exercise-induced loss of abdominal fat and improve triglyceride levels.
