Seminar and R&R

I'm off to Las Vegas this weekend for an Erchonia Laser seminar with Dr. Jeff Spencer.
Dr. Spencer is Lance Armstrongs Chiropractor and a very motivating and inspirational speaker. I am looking forward to seeing him again, this will be my third seminar with him, he is always full of knowledge and I always come back to my practice ready to tackle anything!

I first started using the Cold Laser in my practice one year ago and I can't imagine how I practiced without it!

I will be back in the office on December 17. Have a great weekend!!

Maintenance Care ….AKA Wellness Care

The most important piece of machinery you will ever own is your own body. Yet it is the last thing to get the attention that it needs.

We take better care of our cars, homes and pets than ourselves. If we fall apart we cant take care of anything else.

When those nagging aches and pains show up, take care of them before they turn into something bigger.
In the long run getting your regular maintenance care will cost less then having to deal with a major illness or injury.

Maintence care can be a combination of many things....Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Nutritional testing done with your doctor. But it also includes getting enough sleep, eating well and exercising.

A combination of all these things are going to keep you running smoothly so you can live your life to the fullest.

Full Range Of Motion

Have you been to the gym lately?
Do the people there move through their full range of motion?
Have you ever heard... Don't let your knee pass your toe, don't go below parallel in a squat or don't shrug your shoulders?

In specific situations these rules may need to be followed but in a normal healthy active Human Being we should not have to worry about them and I would also venture to say that we should encourage it! What, encourage full range of motion are you kidding me. NO. I'm not kidding, full range of motion encourages healthier joints, increased flexibility and increased strength.

We should move like babies do. Watch a 2 yo walk, reach and squat they move through a full range of motion with no problems. We lose that over time ... sitting at desks and in cars for long periods of time. That's why we hurt...knee pain, low back pain, shoulder pain and just pain.

Have you ever noticed that you feel better when you move?

If you really want to feel better move through your full range of motion.
